Whit's in Davidson was the second location to open its doors in North Carolina. We opened August 15, 2015 and have been serving a mix of customers who either know nothing about custard and those who are from up North or the Midwest and have had great custard in the past. Our shop definitely gives a small family business feel in a small family oriented town.

We are Ben & Lauren Jones, a local WNC couple who've been part of the Whit's family since early 2020, when we purchased the Hendersonville NC location. As a young family with two small kids, running our own custard shop and joining the Whit's franchise was a wonderful and exciting opportunity! In late 2021, we purchased the North and South Asheville Whit's locations, and now own and operate all three Whit's locations in the region. We've enjoyed getting to know and serving the communities in this area!

“We are originally from Ohio where the first Whit’s is located. The custard is amazing so we wanted to open up stores in North Carolina because we believed in the product and the company. We have two other locations in the Charlotte area and acquired the Kernersville shop in 2020. ”
